WEEK 4 (PHASE 1)

Education is a lifelong process. The destiny of India is being shaped in the classrooms.The destinies of the students are being shaped by their teachers in the classroom. The teachers have the power to cultivate or develop the students. 21st century demands much more from the teachers because 21st century is the century of quality. TQM has also been introduced in the field of education. The quality of teaching depends on the quality of teacher. The teacher should be aware and alert about their teaching, merit or demerits. Teachers should always introspect themselves, so they can know where they are lagging behind. This type of self – assessment is possible only by reflective thinking. WEEK 3 (PHASE 1)

Another week has gone with lots of experiences and memories. There are many new things to learn every day. The advises  from the senior teachers are very much valuable. They could lead us in the right way as their knowledge of classroom practice evolved out of their experiences of years. My subject teacher Anoop sir gave me valuable comments on my teaching. He came to observe my class 2 days.

This was another busy week. There was assembly on Tuesday and Thursday.I had taken classes according to the timetable. On Friday I participated in the mid-day meal programme. I had completed all the lessons as planned. BONDS OF LOVE

What Is Blended Learning?

Blended learning   is a term increasingly used to describe the way   e-learning   i s being combined with traditional classroom methods and independent study to create a new,   hybrid teaching   methodology. It represents a much greater change in basic technique than simply adding computers to classrooms; it represents, in many cases, a fundamental change in the way teachers and students approach the learning experience. It has already produced an offshoot –   the flipped classroom   – that has quickly become a distinct approach of its own. No single, reliable definition of blended learning exists, or even a universal agreement on the term itself. Many use terms like   hybrid ,   mixed , or   integrative   to describe the same trend. WEEK 1 (PHASE 1)

Everyday I reached at 09.00 am. I met my subject teacher, Anoop sir, in the morning itself and made correction if needed. He gave me necessary instruction on how to deliver the class and how to keep disciple.I tried to religiously follow all his instruction and that made my job easy. It was a bit difficult to maintain discipline in the beginning days. But slowly I understood the techniques on discipline and I could take control of the class without difficulty. But I had problem with time management. I could not keep the time as I planned.However I could improve it by the end of the week. Assembly was conducted on Tuesday and  Thursday.

FIRST DAY OF TEACHING PRACTICE( PHASE 1)

In teacher  training programme ( B . Ed ) period of  teaching practice  is considered as very demanding, hectic and exhaustive. Yet the essence of  teacher  training lies  in  it. As a part of 2 year B.ed training course we teacher trainees KPM B.Ed Training College went to  K.P.M.H.S.S Cheriyavelinallor, as a part of School internship phase 1 from July 3rd to August 23rd We reached the school at 09.00am and went and met the Head Master Mr.Bipin Bhaskar. We introduced ourselves and handed over the attendance register.Then we went to meet the subject teachers. I met Anoop sir and he gave me an idea about the class and students. I got class of 9th A. When my period came Anoop sir accompanied me to the class. He introduced me to the class. Students were very excited to meet their new English teacher.
